Unlike white diamonds, black diamonds have a stronger and masculine, energy. They are often used in jewelry, but beware! If you find them at a very low price, you might be looking at black onyx or spinel instead which are also black. Due to limited quantity, carbonados are very expensive. One must be very careful to ensure they are getting a genuine carbonado piece and not something which looks similar.

Black diamonds, like many black crystals, can be used for protection and to absorb and deflect negative energy. Black diamonds also have a grounding energy that can be used to balance the root chakra. All our ring sizes are based on circumference in mm, measured along the inside of the ring.

The easiest way to determine a ring’s circumference is to measure the relevant finger with a piece of string or paper. Mark the point where the two ends meet and measure the length against a ruler to find the circumference.

You can also use a ring you already have by measuring the inside circumference and following the same procedure as described above.

Remember that the size of your fingers usually differs from your right to your left hand, so make sure you measure the correct finger.

Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, hairspray, soap, salt, chlorine or any other fluids and chemicals. Take off your jewelry when washing hands, bathing, doing household tasks, sleeping, tanning, going to the beach or doing sports.

Clean your jewelry softly in warm water and let it dry well. Or even better just gently wipe with a soft jewelry cloth.

Store and protect your jewelry when not in use in an air-tight bag or jewellery box.
